I like to think of myself as “very resourceful”, or pretty cheap….. depends on who you ask.
I would sometimes rather MAKE tools that I use, rather than spend money on them. Don’t get me wrong, there are some tools that are worth their weight in gold, and are engineered wonderfully that are amazing time savers and I wouldn’t give up for the world. There are some tools that I use though, that I have specially tailored to my style and liking, that fit me like a glove, and are my “go-to” tools for specific tasks. Today I am going to show you a couple of them, and how I make them myself out of some pretty inexpensive tools to start. Wax carving and shaping tools fit into this category.
