Hey all, I have been absent from the website for a while, not because I am going anywhere, but because I have been “feverishly” putting together the JewelryMonk Studio and Training Center on Main Street, in my hometown of Rapid City, SD. Where you say?…..Yes, Exactly.
Rapid City, SD in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota is where the new Training Center will be established. Once open, at the beginning of June, I will be offering hourly, daily, and multi-day classes teaching just about every aspect of Jewelry Making, from Soldering, Wax Carving and Casting, Stone Setting, and Polishing, to Model and Mold Making, CAD, 3D Printing, and More.
I will also be a supplier of tools and be putting together tool packages to go with each specific lesson and sub-category of jewelry making at a discounted price, as well as supplying the local jewelers in my area. I will have an area of the Studio set aside for selling jewelry of local jewelers and students of the Training Center. Once the Center is up and running, I will continue to add tips, tricks, and encouraging content to this website to help beginner and intermediate jewelers, actually jewelers of all levels, grow in their craft.
