Polishing Tips (Video)

Have you ever been working on a piece of silver, and there is a “Pesky” scratch of dull area you are having a hard time getting to? Well, you are in luck today, I have a couple of quick videos to show you how I take care of them:

In the First Video, I use what is called Automotive Valve Grinding Compound (either water or oil based) loaded on an “End-Brush” in my Flexible Shaft. It can be picked up at your local automotive parts dealer. It is gritty, and will remove deep scratches and un-smooth surface areas pretty well.

In the Next Video, I use “GrayStar Pre-polishing compound and Mineral Oil loaded on an “End-Brush” in my Flexible Shaft. This is not as aggressive as the gritty Valve Compound, but works great for minor scratches and dull areas.
