Over the past couple of weeks, I have been putting together some FREE VIDEOS on different aspects of Jewelry Making.

I Cover:

An overview of Design, Wax Carving, and Casting.

2. Tool Making

I give an examples of Wax Carving Tools, and How to Make 2 of My Favorite Carving Tools.

3. Overcoming Fear and Gaining Confidence

I give examples of How I Safely Hooked Up My Torch to My Tanks and Regulators, and Give 2 Soldering Examples

    Hi Doug, I have a little feedback, which I am only giving because you have always seemed to be open to it. I opened one of your free videos a couple of days ago and another one today. In both cases I quit after a minute or so. For me, way too much talking to sit through if what you want is information about making jewelry. Personally, I wouldn’t buy a video that has all that talking about you, your feelings, etc. I hope you take this as constructive. Thanks, Vera

      Vera, Thank you for your honest feedback, I do value it. I struggle with stuff like this as well. I have always been a jewelry maker, and trainer, and this new area of content development, marketing myself, sales, etc. is frightening and new, and frankly has kept me away from this venture for a long time. I am afraid of putting myself out there on a stage for any and all to see, and criticize, but that is the path I have chosen.
      These initial videos are more marketing, with hopefully valuable content added in for free, than anything else. There are a lot of people who are unfamiliar with myself, and my vision and journey, that I am trying to reach out to and connect with. The Training Series I am promoting is, I assure you, not at all about me, but 100% about jewelry training.
      Thank you again for your feedback, it is not on deaf ears.

    Thanks for the videos Doug! I have often looked for content like this to help me with my jewelry making and never really had any luck with it. I love the detailed step by step presentation and your custom tool tips. These videos are immersive and educational and those little glimpses into your life make the instructions less like sitting through a boring technical lecture and more like having a personal mentor. So please keep posting and Thank you again!
